NEWSFLASH: Nationwide LGBT Protests

LGBT Protest Icon

The homosexual community is planning a nationwide protest on Saturday, November 15 and will probably continue throughout the year and perhaps even through next year and forever until they get their demands met. They have a website committed to providing links to area blogs and sites that give the place of each meeting. That can be found on this web page: Join the Impact!

Why the demonstrations? They said on that page:This is an issue of equality across America. Stand up and make your voice heard!”

The LGBT community is still comparing their rights to the California issue of interracial marriages and how the courts had to override the vote of the people of California in 1948 which voted to outlaw interracial marriages. What they refuse to accept is that skin color is morally neutral while sexual preferences is not! Interracial couples can marry and bare children. Interracial couples, whether having their own or through adoption, can still provide the stable environment that ALL children need, a mother and father in a true female and male biological makeup.

They are making this a campaign against hate (see their “Fight the Hate” icon above). Is that true that we who oppose them hate them? Only partially. We HATE their HOMOSEXUALITY which is outright immoral. We do not hate the individuals at all. We have the right to hate immorality. Hollywood and San Francisco and all that support them are not recognizing and understanding why those of us who voted for Prop 8 can possibly be so “hurtful” towards the LGBT community. For one, Hollywood and San Francisco are great examples of the immoral sewage that is spilling out of California, so it makes sense that these two places would support homosexuality.

Yes, it hurts for the LGBT community to be told that homosexuality is immoral.  But there are major differences in fighting for continuing immoral acts compared to fighting for civil rights of those with different skin colors from the majority.  An example is the 4Simpsons blog which gives a quick rundown on the why not to support those unions here.

See next post on Playing the Race Card on Gay Marriage to show why gay rights does not equal civil rights of the past.

David, you think all Jesus did was speak “lovingly” about people? Think again!

He dedicated an entire chapter in Matthew blasting the Pharisees and Scribes for their hypocritical ways: Matthew 23

Warns entire cities for their unrepentant ways: Luke 10:12-14

    Warns evil lawyers: Luke 11:46-48

Those are just a few examples of Jesus calling out people and even entire cities for their evil ways. Just replace those people’s and city’s names with some examples of today’s representatives!

Some folks even have the nerve to say that Jesus would support same-sex marriage! His business, and those who follow Him businesses should be the same – calling out sin!

God loves us, but He’s not about to tolerate our willful disobedience!

  2. David says:

I don’t agree with what the christians are doing or what the lgbt people are doing. This is the problem, Jesus has called us to love people where they stand, thus forming a friendship with them and then teaching them about the word. What I’m seeing from a Christian’s standpoint is other “christians” protesting gay pride parades with signs that say, “gay people are going to hell” and “Jesus doesn’t love you”… etc Jesus also has called us to not stand on the corner like a clashing cymbol and a banging drumb, but to go to a quiet place to pray. God is the only one who can change lives, but when we pray, God will listen to our prayers. There is a wonderful article in the christian woman magazine that talks about mothers and gay sons. It bring reality to what is really going on. These so called “gay” people are people that God loves very very much. Jesus didn’t go to the pharacies to tell them about God’s love, he went to the most broken of people to spread the GOOD NEWS that God loves them. I don’t think that an Antigay marriage ban is going to do anything possitive, it’s only going to bring a group of broken people farther away from God. All we need to do is to find broken people and just become friends with them. God will do the rest of the work, we just need to take the first step. Just remember, God loves everyone, so when we think that we are better than anyone else, we will be mistaken. God can heal the most broken of people. We must trust and believe.

  3. Phil says:

You’re just playin, right Phil? You aren’t really serious that gays are thinking that way, are you?

Uh, what part of my statement did you think was “playin’?”

Although I can’t speak for every single gay person, I think it’s safe to say that gay people, like most people, don’t view the race of your partner as a moral or immoral thing.

And I’m pretty confident that gay people don’t view the gender of one’s partner as a moral issue.

Allow me to be clear: I absolutely, unequivocally do not think it is immoral for a white person to be in a relationship with a black person (or any other race.)

And I absolutely, unequivocally do not think it is immoral for a man to be in a relationship with a man (or for a woman to be in a relationship with a woman.)

Did you think I personally found gay relationships immoral and I just like being bad? What were you asking?

If so, perhaps my political stance makes more sense. I certainly think that the best person to choose a partner for a person is that person. And it’s the height of arrogance for a third party to take action that suggests they think they know better than me who I ought to date.

Answer honestly: What would you think of me if I tried to use the force of law to rip apart your marriage?

Stan, that was a great point you made and something that I can’t understand others to simply accept.

Laws of marriage in California have been man and a woman. Race as you said, does not matter! It was still consistent for marriage between a man and a woman no matter what color and to forbid marriage between a man and a woman of different colors/races HAD to be struck down because of that reason!

Now if our Governor and activist judges can understand why you can’t compare interracial marriage laws in the past with same sex marriage…then perhaps Prop 8 will be here to stay!

Christine, I made my little visit but made it back in time to go to church this morning. It was pretty peaceful and no reports of any protesters – that I know of!

But we were ready for them! Pastor even had us practice a song that would be played if there was a disruption during the middle of service. It was a nice loving song in Christ! To offset whatever potential madness that might be happening!

The protesters were about 25,000 strong yesterday and had a long march. They were probably tired and quite satisfied at their huge turnout which was supposedly the largest of all the cities participating in their nationwide protest. So perhaps they may be putting off protest for another Sunday – or better yet, through with their demonstrations.

    Hi Carlotta,

Got an email from Pastor Miles that The Rock Church might be targeted with gay protesters today. I wasn’t able to attend the service today. Do you know what happened?

I am curious to see if they would protest against a Christian church that is pastored by an African-American. Many news commentators (like O’Reilly) have pointed out that the “No on 8″ protesters have not targeted any “black churches.” The Rock doesn’t really come under such a heading because of the diverse congregation. Just curious whether or not any protesters showed up today.

I notice that you have stated that you are visiting relatives so maybe you didn’t attend the Rock today either! Let me know what you hear. Thanks!

  7. Stan says:

“What they refuse to accept is that skin color is morally neutral while sexual preferences is not!”

I have views on the morality of sexual choices, but the question of joining the two concepts of “same-sex” and “marriage” isn’t a moral issue to me; it’s an illogical concept. Marriage has a definition. Even the California Supreme Court, when they were striking down the law, recognized that the “longstanding and traditional definition” was “the union of one man and one woman.”

So … let’s see … “man” and “woman.” Is there anything about a black man that doesn’t qualify as “man” or a black woman that doesn’t qualify as “woman”? No. So blocking people from marriage on a basis of race ignores the definition of marriage. On the other hand, sexual preferences don’t make “a man and a woman.” Therefore, allowing people of the same sex to qualify for something that is defined by two different genders violates the definition.

Nothing at all about morality or civil rights. Nothing at all about religion or hate. I don’t know why this is so difficult for either side. “Marriage” doesn’t include “man and man” or “woman and woman” because that’s not the definition or function. Simple.

I think the thinking, among gay activists, is that both skin color and gender are morally neutral. Just as the skin color of your husband is not immoral, so too, the gender of my husband is not “immoral.”

You’re just playin, right Phil? You aren’t really serious that gays are thinking that way, are you?

I think it’s wonderful to pray for people. That’s a perfectly reasonable, non-invasive way to try to effect change…instead of using force.

There’s not a gay person alive that I want to hurt simply because they don’t agree with me. Even those who want to hurt others, I still don’t want to exact any pain.

Now on the other hand if someone comes up to me and wants to hit me…I may have to defend myself! And that’s with anyone!

I’ll be praying for the gay folks that their heart opens up and let our Lord in – for real!

As for me, I’m going to Los Angeles this weekend to join my sisters and cousins for a nice lil’ get together.

I’ll be praying for the gay folks that their heart opens up and let our Lord in – for real!

I have no interest in fighting them…just want them to come to the true knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and give up their selfish lifestyles to serve Him faithfully in obedience,

  11. gcmwatch says:

Carlotta I checked the main site out and from the questions being asked it looks like confusion is king. Many of the alleged protest cities are nothing but people saying they need someone to organize it. Others are questioning the locations, timing, and even the intent. One assumed gay man wrote that too many of the protestors were filled with hate like their alleged “oppressors”. But he doesnt look like anyone was paying him any mind.

I intend to stay in my home and have fun with my children like I do most every Sat.

    Ya’ know?

The hissing and dissing of our Lord and His people have began to truly showup. Reading their blogs and listening to the protesters…its truly all about hating God!

Spreading the hate is exactly what they are doing! What hate are we guilty of? Merely supporting Prop 8?

  13. gcmwatch says:

    Shouldnt that sign read

    Spread the H8?

After witnessing what these people are doing and saying during their stir up the hate pre-rallies, how could they possibly be marching against hate?

I’m a bit embarrased but I had to google: LGBT.

LGBT: lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender/transsexual people

Yes, they are good marketers and so many are falling for their convincing rhetorics.

But you’re right – no deal from those of us who aren’t fooled by their marketing campaign.

Homosexual marriage is not a virtue whatsoever!

  17. Neil says:

They are good marketers, I’ll grant them that. They’ve managed to convince many people that sodomy is a virtue. They have also convinced many that their opposition is intolerant, when in fact they are the most intolerant group going. We already tolerate them, but the are demanding affirmation. No deal.
